yes it is FWD
my roomate had the 99 sho and my svt wooped it every time by several car lengths.
it must have not been tune very well cause my wifes pulls hard as hell and i am pretty sure it would kick my SVT's ass

what was it like 240hp?? add that with the added weight of the taurus, and the slushbox and i wouldn't say the SHO would kick an SVT's ass. atleast if you knew how to drive.

definitly didnt kick my ass and now that i think about it his car had a few small mods . full exhaust etc.
