Shifter

I took shifter the boot off my 99 CSVT and i noticed the Torx screws were loose. But I also noticed that I only had 2 of the Torx screws and there are 4 holes. My question is if there are suppose to be two or four of those Torx screws. Thank you

yeah, i only had 3 in mine. I just went to the junkyard and pocketed another screw. it probably isnt a huge deal if you're missing a couple. i was missing one and had no clue

think it might have been one of those things cut back on to save money ... both our 99s only had 2 bolts ...

There was only 2 in my 2000, though I went to a hardware store and got 4 new ones with the same thread, length, and phillips head.

Same here, had to get four new ones that were longer for the riser plate! But my 98.5 SVT had 4 ones on the stock shifter when I took it out.

i was missing two and they were loose, i tightned them up and the shifting was all good again
