Well after some stupid woman and her friend came plowing through the parking lot at 45mph and then slamming on her brakes trying not to hit me...

The good news is that the front bumper and splitter are back in good old Neil's Auto Body who did the fabulous work for me in the first place. So hopefully they can bring it back to what it used to look like. The bumper has a crease in one spot and urethane chipped away in another. The splitter didn't see much force so it for the most part is ok. The rod support that bolts to the bottom of the bumper to the subframe is folded over, which is why in the one pictures you can see the bumper bowing out from the fender. I just hope that the bumper doesn't maintain that shape. Otherwise I guess I'm buying a new bumper from Steve at Tousley for roughly $475. I'll keep you guys posted with the results.

45mph in a parking lot?! WTF?! i hope you were exaggerating :help:

that sucks man. at least it wont be another totaled tour.
 
sounds like when i got hit in a parking lot in my El Camino, they hit me so hard they knocked out both of their headlights and their hood ended up on the other side of my car.
i was stopped and they were on the wrong side of the lane in teh parking lot.
i got hit with all the surcharges and 4 points....her daddy was lawyer and got her out of it.

Nope no exaggeration here. It happened in a parking lot for a golf course. To get to the parking lot you have to turn on a road which branches off from a county road. The road, which has a 45mph speed limit, ends at the parking lot. It serves as the entrance to it, and is about 1 1/2 miles long. The woman and her friend just kept going 45mph as they came into the parking lot hoping to have a spot waiting for them in the front.
 
I got the quote for the repair today, it's only going to be $350. So not to shabby. He told me he should be able to make it good as new. The only thing is since we got hit with hail in this area just recently hes pretty backed up. He told me I probably wouldn't get it back till mid week next week.
