Admittedly, this is a strange request: I'm wondering if I can use someone's garage space sometime to swap out the rear springs on my Thunderbird.
Estimated work time is about one hour. I need to jack the rear end up, get the two rear tires off, disconnect the lower end of each rear shock, let the axle down, and the springs just fall out. Installation is the reverse. I don't have a garage, and my driveway is a downward sloping, uneven mixture of sand, dirt, and gravel.
I'll bring my own tools as well as two pairs of jack stands. The only tool I'll need to borrow from you is a floor jack.
In return, I'm more than happy to lend a hand to any of your car projects or help out with house chores or yard work -- no reasonable offer refused.
Thanks!
