SE Sport question

Does anyone know what the SE Sport package included? got to be something other that the floor mats and the badge on the trunk... I have a 99 just wondering.....

i believe it includes the floor mats, leather steering wheel, leather shift knob, spoiler, side skirts, fog lamps, body colored mirrors, tach for a 99

basically all appearence items as you could have a se sport with a zetec I do believe

My '98 SE auto has a tach too.

The suspension was a little bit sportier [(no pun intended) see above link]. Weren't the 8 and 12 spoke rims only available for the SE's as well? Mine also has leather seats, but I think that was just an interior option? :dunno:

I think my parents kept the window sticker when they bought it. I'll check and see...

8 spoke wheels came on the SE Sport

12 spoke wheels came on the SE Comfort which had no color matched mirrors, side skirts, spoiler etc ...

leather was an option and not part of the SE Sport group

now on a pre98 SE leather was standard I believe

My 99 came with side skirts, spoiler, 8 spoke, cloth seats. I put in the leathers. Somewhere I think I read something about the sports having SVT struts, but I can't verify that.

remember that 98 SE's and 98.5 SE's were different as well. 98's were more like the 95-97(except a slightly softer suspension) whereas my 98.5 SE non sport came with a V6, base interior, no sideskirts, and 8 spoke wheels.

the seats had smaller bolsters than the 95-96's as well.
not all pre98se's had leather. mine had cloth no sunroof and a tape deck.
