Seriously though, I don't typically like white cars but that thing looks incredible. Those gauges are badass, too. Can't see myself obeying the speed limit with SALEEN staring at me the whole time.

The 2001 Saleen S281 sports a 4.6 liter, 2V modular engine with a standard output of 285 hp. Saleen uses a new premium fuel calibration, special underdrive pulleys and a new exhaust system. For 2001, the optional Saleen Roots-Type Supercharger boosts power to 365 hp, a 15 horsepower increase over last year's model. For 2001, a new hood design distinguishes the S281 along with a striking list of new colors including Speedlab Yellow, Saleen S7 Silver, Lizstick Red, Pearl White, Stealth Black, Beryllium, Victory Blue and Bright Signature Red. The S281 offers a refined Saleen Racecraft suspension and Saleen 18 in. wheels as standard equipment. As with all Saleens, the 2001 Saleen S281 features an engine bay plaque and serialized console plaque that verify its authenticity as a true Saleen vehicle.
It is a little faster than a standard GT stock vs. stock. Basically has all the bolt-ons from Saleen. The Borla sounds sexy!

I was under the impression that all S281s were sc/ed. Clean ride 
the front without a badge really doesn't look noticeable to me. It actually looked like it had a combat body kit on it, just a bit smaller.

Bluesteel, no not all S/Ced. There was a list of options from Saleen..supercharged/different hood/Recaro seats with Saleen stitched on them etc. I had a guy in a local forum tell me he knows of a factory Saleen supercharger here locally. Hmmm! I found a S/C 02' around here, but they are asking $19,999. So for $11k I don't think I did bad. Mine books for $18,400 w/o supercharger. Not sure the price on the kit. There is one on ebay with a $2500 buy it now price. I spent ALOT more to turbo the SVT.
