Well depending on where you are, if we could get some people together, we could move your car accross the country in legs if you wanted... Like say it was michigan, you could have someone drive it to the next svt owner within like 100 miles and then then leg it the next 100, that way the person can have a trail car to return in after they pass the car on.... Just a thought... lenthy, but I would do it for a fellow CEG"r. As I was taught at a young age, do to others, what you want them to do to you....

VIN is valid, I just ran OASIS on it. Shows it as a 98 SVt Contour, no warranty history. Though it shows it produced as a Silver Frost. I suppose Roush or the people at Bondurant could easily repaint it. And before anyone asks, no I won't run OASIS on everyones cars, lol.

You can tell that it was a Silver Frost just from the engine bay picture. Plus has no one notice the part that says "THIS VEHICLE CANNOT BE TAGGED FOR EVERYDAY STREET DRIVING." Seems like a waste of $8K for a car that's been beat on by a driving school and that you can't drive all the time.

I'd be willing to bet that they say that for liability purposes, rather than from it actually not being taggable. If you get creative enough, you can get just about anything registered. If you've got a title and a valid VIN then you should be golden.
