by the way...NO clear coat was used on the lense..i personally don't like that method.

great job! I didnt think it headlights that were hazed that bad could be restored. How long did it take?
depends on if you have a highspeed buffer, and some heavy cut pads..i can't imagine buffing or polishing by hand. all in all,to bake, open, prep, paint, sand and buff..prob a couple hours tops

I just went and bought some TYC headlights and used the covers on the OEM housing. I didnt feel like buffing, I didnt even think of a high speed buffer:help::blackeye:

Damn I didnt think that was possible. I have a badly hazed set like that at my house that I was going to throw away, now I will hang on to them.

I have tried and failed miserably. Maybe I will bring them to sz and you can give us a demo on mine:laugh:

Great job. Thanks Chris. I'd be jealous as hell if they weren't my lights. I can't wait to get them installed.

wtf they look so nice. i tried on the stock headlights that i replaced and the hightowering went AWESOME but the cleaning lens part not so well. you are right in using a high speed buffer, my arm gets tired fast :(

looks good, cant wait to see these on the car, im debating whether or not to do black/gunmetal hightowers or greens ones

i've honestly never tried..i suppose yours could be the first attempt:laugh:
--i take no responsibility if it doesnt turn out right.--

Those look good! I've been trying to find up close pics of green hightowers. Please try to post some with them back on the car as well..
