50% is legal where I live (MN) I was shocked to learn that mine is 10% :crazy:

Yeah. Minnesota blows. 50% or less, all around. Nothing hanging from your rear view mirror. And your windshield banner cant be lower than your rear view mirror.:nonono: This state sucks. If your gonna get windows tinted at all theres no point when its 50%.

So why not just do 35% rear doors, and 35% rear window? Better than nothing.

I'm considering it, but not for a while. The car needs other stuff fixed first.

When I got it inspected, they used a meter which included the factory tint. So when I failed, it was because the fronts were "officially" 32% or so, and the rears 17%.
