Take apart the center console.
Unless you want to try and pry it open with a flat head you're going to have to remove the center console (or at least unscrew it and lift it off), then remove the lower parts for your cup holders, then unscrew the trim piece. From there it's a bunch of clips and screws holding the HVAC to the trim piece.
