REMINDER- Carlisle is this weekend

The all ford national show at Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlsile, PA is next weekend.

Here is the link to the NE-CEG thread on it.

At this point it is $45 but this is entry for two people for the whole weekend (1st to the 3rd)

Right now there are about 20 contours that will be present.

And for those of you who have not seen Shaggy in some time he is goign to Carlisle this year, so more reason for NE-CEG to show up

As for a hotel room I have space in mine as the roommate I had canceled and isn't going, its right in Carlisle, Hotel Carlsile, iirc. At this time I haven't had anyone interested in splitting the cost of the room even with people looking for a place to stay. Also most of the people going to Carlisle are staying at this hotel.

Mike and I were thinking about doing it, but we haven't yet looked into the dates, if we'd need to take time off from work, etc.
 
well the biggest day and the most important day of the show is Saturday. I have been working half days on fridays, put extra time in during the week, and will head down Friday afternoon. Will I get to the show field Friday, I am not sure but at least I will be down there.

You don't need to take time off unless you want to is how I see it.
 
What hotel are you staying in?
I'm gonna map things out to get a better idea on how doable this is for us.
I guess we'd probably drive out Friday night after work, and then probably head home Sunday.
 
FWIW, its an excellent show. Anyone who hasn't gone should go if they can, and anyone who has been there before knows what I mean. I'm running out there in tandem with a Fox Cougar with a 22.1 gallon tank. That thing could about make the Ohio line from Massachusetts, so will have no problem running nonstop to Carlisle. Its me that's going to have to watch the gauge a bit. :cool:
 
alright, pending approval from Mike's employer for Friday the 1st off, we are in for this.
Brian, did you prepay for the hotel? pm me to discuss arrangements.

I think what we'll do is leave Friday at 2ish (I'll have to work half day) and head straight for the hotel.
We'll probably get there around 10ish, assuming you'll be back at the hotel at that time to let us into the room.
Then we'll spend all day Saturday with you fools, and then check out on Sunday to head home.

woot! I'm stoked.
I'll register tomorrow once Mike gets the ok.
 
Kim, would you guys mind grabbing me a couple of cases of YL Black&Tan while you are there?

^ The beer store is a few miles from the hotel. Very easy to find.

Great news that you and Mike are coming down. :) By 10pm we should be hanging out in the gazebo at the hotel.

They have to be warm or they'd be a bit nasty by the time you got home. Enjoy them!
