Raptor Pictures

The two on the fender edges might be useful for marking the outsides of the truck, but the ones in the grille are pointless. Stupid design cue. Put them up on the roof where they belong, or don't put them on at all.

No, I mean light that can be projected ahead of you on the trail. If the ones in the grill can put some light out that can aid that...I think it's pretty useful.

Why oh why would they want to put something like those orange lights on the roof and make it look like the parts were from some two-bit truck stop on the side of the highway? They just scream cheap and/or hillbilly.

The huge FORD in the middle of the grille is disgusting looking... and the lights are a bad design cue?

I want one.

Putting clearance lights in the middle are so that people can recognize that it is one vehicle, not say 2 motorcycles. No more reason to put them on the roof than in the grille, people just like them on the roofs of pickups cause HD trucks have them on the roof so that people can recognize the top of the cab. On a short vehicle like a pickup there isnt any reason to have clearance lights on the roof of the cab, since clearance is never an issue.

why the hell are the wheels so small :help:??

That's the first thing I noticed and it stuck out like a sore thumb. It looks like skateboard wheels with huge tires.

I'm not saying it should come with 20's but damn those look like 13's

By that reasoning, every car on the road should have marker lights in the grille. I stand by my opinion. Stupid design cue.

Still a hot truck.

The off road people air down their tires to really increase traction. If you have a larger wheel you will have less sidewall and it will be stiffer - exactly what you do not on an off-road vehicle. Those tires are not huge - and the wheels are not small.... You are just used to looking at street wheels and tires that only have one purpose...

Yeah I saw one of these at the auto show here a couple weeks ago. Probably my favorite vehicle of the show

Did you get to drive this one around?

It wasn't a choice Ford made, it's a federal mandate. Every vehicle over 80 inches wide is supposed to have marker lights. The stock F150 is (I believe) right around 80", the Raptor is about 86.6" wide, so law mandates that it needs marker lights.

We put around 100 miles on it, doing errands, taking pictures and running back and forth to my brother's house. It's a nice truck, plenty of power and it sounds great.

Luckyyyyy

I really didn't expect them to be getting decent mileage
