Pulled over Rt. 1 Palinville,Ma (again)

Well i was pulled over on the same stretch of route 1 in Plainville, Ma again. This time was even better than the last time (no front plate). This time I got pulled over for "Driving with fog lights on while there isn't any fog or inclimate weather." :shrug: This was at 9:30 at night. The umarked car followed me out of my work parking lot with my girlfriend behind me. He followed me onto route one and stayed staggered off to my left waiting for my girlfriend to give him room to get behind me. He then flashed his lights, cut her off, then turned on his lights and I pulled over into a gas station. As soon as he walks up to my window, an expedition pulls up next to me. He tells me his little story and asks where I'm coming from and who was following me. He proceeds to look through all my windows with his sweet maglite. He then walks over to the expedition, says something to him, then the expedition drives over to my girlfriend and starts asking her questions. Then I look kind of behind me only to see another cruiser pull into the parking lot across the street and face our way. The cop then comes back and tells me that I'm all set and starts to walk away until I stopped him. I asked him what this "law" was about fog lights and then explain to him that I see people driving with fogs on all the time and he comes back with "Well... we tend to stop them as well." I wanted to be like "BS you do!" but I just let it go and that was the end of it. I pulled out of the parking lot and let's just say I let him hear my K&N+exhaust. :laugh:

its not the best thing...the best thing is to yell "funk you pig"...then immediately chuck an open beer on the ground...never tried it myself but i hear the outcome is worth it, haha

that sucks, i hate bad cop stories...gives them all a bad name...i went to school for criminal justice cause i wanted to get into police work, but im just not sure its for me, i fear i would get worn down and become a dick like the gentleman you just described, haha
 
i did the start the car up and rev the motor in front of the cops once.
it was right after i got a written warning for the loud exhaust on the El Camino.
it was also in front of about 8 town cops and 5 state troopers.
it was also right after i spent over half an hour cuffed with my forehead on the hood of the car in the middle of december while only wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
i only revved it up because after busting my bawls for over an hour, it ended up being their fault and they needed to make themselves feel better so they gave me a warning.

Honestly, that IS the law in MASS, unfortunately.... the cops like to pull a LOT of people around here for that one too... they say it is a distraction (like neon lights) when it isn't raining, snowing or fog out...

At least you only got a warning...
 
That sucks, I drive around all the time with my fog lights on, no front license plate, my illegally tinted windows, and drive 5 to 7 over the limit without a problem. I guess it's better in MN.
 
I drive with my fogs on all the time. (Automatic headlights ... set it and forget it.) Most stock fogs aim straight to the ground 2ft in front of you anyway ... how is that a distraction to oncoming drivers?! I can see the point only if they are improperly aimed aftermarkets or excessively bright bulbs.

That is really creepy that the unmarked car followed you out of the parking lot. Lucky you only got a warning though.

they weren't on dumb@$$. I'm not that stupid. They were straight fog lights.

Oh and I got to see the same cop again tonight. My girlfriend managed to put her celica into a telephone poll and total it in the same town and when we went down to the station, he was there. He just walked right by me though.
