I'm moving to VA Beach March 1st. Still arranging places and sifting through jobs to finalize on but it's a solid decision. Originally it was to be three of us, but the other backed out.

We've narrowed our choices to two places, one right on the beach on Atlantic Ave and another about five miles inland. My roommate will have either a 55k or 65k salary sales position while I'll have web design in the 25-30k range [Hopefully more but I'm playing the budget safely] I'm pretty psyched because I love the location! Lots of media jobs in a booming town that's only going skywards as of late. My roommate and I will be merging business together for the best freelance sales/design that we can possibly offer on the side while still living a normal life. Gonna be cool

The Contour's coming with me- behind our moving truck.  I am NOT risking the 9 hour trip with stalling. No way. I will be attending SZ07, but most likely with a different car. We'll see- but I'm pretty certain of it. All depends on my new salary!

So, who wants to gather a meet in late March just before SZ07 in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area? Call it CEG's Capitol Beach Blast or something. Any takers?!

Welcome  . Make sure you sign in when you are here. If you would like to organize a meet, I will try to be there but I really can't promise anything as my work shedule has been really crazy recently. A few years ago, I used to frequent VA Beach a few times a year, even during the winter. Yes, I am a "beach bum".

You will like VA Beach. Excellent location and excellent food served there.

wickid sad, dude.
BUT we've been wanting to do a weekend roadtrip to VA Beach for a while, so we'll have to force Billdo to house us. ;)

 We already have 3 girls from Buff State coming down for Spring Break
But noone compares to The Kim.

Yeah guys I'd like to organize a small meet if anyone's interested. I've learned the area pretty well already, lots of spots to get some fawking awesome pics of everyone's cars too.

a road trip would be awesome. VA beach is about 3 hours from here and it's a nice drive too through most of of the roads.

I used to live in VA Beach. You should like it. I hated the trafic though

From what I hear traffic on Atlantic/Pacific Avenues as well as the 264 get locked up pretty bad. Pfft, I'm ready for it. I hope. :blackeye:

Hey!You might see me in Va. this summer!I,am looking for some car shows
in the area.I like that v-6 badge so much, I have one on my 98 tour.
I hope to see you around....Good Luck!

Va Beach has a great junkyard. You have to pull the past yourself but you can't beat the price. There's always a contour or 2 in there. I may have to get you to pic some stuff up for me when you get there :)
