I have depo's and they are wonderful. You will need to keep your "u" clips from your old lights for mounting them, but they are great after 4 years, no yellowing or anything.

I wouldn't spend more than $10 per bulb. I don't need any of these super high tech bulbs from the land of the rising sun. HID or stock for me.

TX if you decide you want out of the HIDs you got, lemme know what temp they are and I may pick them up off ya...

I won't be getting rid of them. I just have to find the time to put projectors in them before I go back to Texas, while I still have 2 cars in one place. I think with projectors, the light distribution will be good. They are plenty bright, they just don't cover a lot of area.

Kinda the same problem I have currently. Since my hella's broke I put in a set of proburners which give me good downrange light, but not side to side. My headlights aren't worth crap for any sort of lighting, most likely due to the haze and yellowing hence the replacement. If the new lights aren't the answer I'll pick up an HID kit and call it good.

Kenny if you go to the LKQ in Holland there is a pre98 with brand new looking headlight. I think they are $20 each.

The haze certainly does kill any improvement you make with bulbs. I'm still struggling with getting mine cleared up without sanding too much of them away.

I can vouch for Striker2's hids in the pre-98 the light output was just as good if not better than the ouput in my old silver svt with the hid's

I cant imagine it being worse since the old lights focus light better than the 98+ lights. I'm assuming neither had projectors put in?

Neither Treys old car or my car had projectors.
