pre 98 trunk lid

to me that is a weird question .... if you want it I would try to get it a cheap as possible, but thats just me ...
 
I see that a few people on the board have bought them and i was trying to see if the price of the ones i came across was about the same as what they paid.I belive i can get one off them for about 100 dollars with the inner and outer tail lights.
 
with the tail lights I bet thats a good deal, if its your color alraedy and in good shape thats a bonus ... but again it comes down to what you want to pay for it and if you feel its a good deal.


I suggest you search the classifieds and see what some trunk lids went for ...
 
like BrApple said If you want it bad enough you have an Idea of what you will pay so go from there. If it is 100 and your color I wouldnt pass it up.
 
this all depends on if it has a lip spoiler or not
if it doesnt it really isnt worth anything more than what a salvage yard would charge 20 or 30 bucks
with the lip spoiler i paid 125 for mine

i loved mine without the lip spoiler. got it for $17

I dont mean to jack the thread but is there any modifications you need to do to put a pre98 trunk on a newer contour?:shrug:

no it will bolt right up. you need the outer taillights to make it look exactly right though. You will also have to do some wiring for the reverse lights and tag lights as well but nothing hard
