plugs and wires

I had 60k on the stockers and the electrodes were "dished" slightly and could have been regapped and thrown back in. But, car ran fine, no misfires. Now its got ~50k on a set of Autolite double platinums and so far so good.

If you're going with autolite dbl. plats, part number is APP764

If you want something a little 'higher performance' the Autolite extreme performance plugs look pretty good. Part number for those IIRC is XP104

I'm gonna try the XP's next time, not that I really need them or think they'll buy me much, if anything.
 
ive got double platinums from autolite with thundervolt wires. no idea how they are, havent ran it with them yet cause my car is in pieces in my moms garage.....getting the uim and tb optimized and powdercoated.
 
I also got a set of Autolite Professional series wires and put them in around 100k, again the stock wires were fine, just figured it was preventative maintenance.
