Hey all, this is my first time postin pictures of my pride and joy. Like the caption says, its #1633, and I've had it a little over a year.

Mods include:
17" Edge "Zenith" wheels
drilled and slotted brake rotors
"knaberized" (sp?)
Panasonic headunit with 4 way Pioneer speakers all a round and a 12" Polk Momo sub in the trunk
K&N open air intake

The car needs a new suspension badly (squeaks and rattles all around), so the next thing I'm doing to it is installing the BAT Europien handling kit for increased handling and a little bit of a drop

p.s- i hope these pics work

Comments/Suggestion please

I'm not feeling the wheels at all. They don't go with the car at all imo.

New headlights are in order too.

Other than that....clean looking SVT you've got there:) .

New headlights would go with the rims and nice silver SVT:cool:. Teamfordparts.com is best deal on OEM ($125 each I believe.), or do the wetsand/buff (see aesthetics section) to get soft shine(much elbow grease).

I think its just that their chrome. I dont really like chrome on these cars. Just not my taste.

Otherwise thats a nice SVT:drool:

I'm not really sold on the wheels myself. They came with the car, they were put on by the previous owner. I just havent had the money to think about getting something new. On a side note, the wheels cost about a $1000, if I was to sell them and put the money towards new wheels, how much do you think i could get? (they are in perfect condition)

Also, new headlights on on my list of things to purchase (actually tried to get them open to wetsand earlier today, but could get them open (looks like maybe the previous owner clued them shut in order to keep moisture out). Or is there some trick to getting them open that i couldnt figuere out?

thanks for all the comments

For the wheels: you wouldn't get much because only like 3 cars with our bolt pattern.

For the headlights, you have to search for "hightower" its when people open their headlights and pain the silver parts black. but it consists of baking them in the oven at a certain tempature for a certain amount of time, IMO if you not doing it to paint them, just buy new ones.

Those wheels don't really look all that bad IMO, I think if they were just a bit bigger and your car was slammed that'd be alright. Obviously there aren't too many Gangstas here on CEG... But seriously, they really don't look all that bad, member it's "your" car and "you" are the one driving it... It's nice to see something different on here, rather than the same old same "Silver Frost CSVT".

The car looks good. Again Im no fan of chrome rims on a CSVT.

On the selling part: Looks like you have caps to cover the lug nuts, See if you have another bolt pattern like 4x100 that will open you up to a SSShhhhhttt load of cars you can sell those wheels to....

Do the headlight wetsand and buff... or grab a new set.. search for hightower and you can paint the insides or just take off the signal marker to have clear corners. If you arent interested in painting the inside then I would get some new ones from ford....

Im in New Brunswick all the time cause my GF is going to Rutgers. I saw some rutgers pics and some pictures behind Route 1. Not sure if thats the NB Side or the Highland Park side.... I always commute from Jersey City(where I live) to NB.. So if you see a Black and Red CSVT. FLASH ME!!!! Maybe Sometime we can meet.

I took a peak and the wheels do have a 4X100 bolt pattern which is great news. Unfortunatly, I'm a little low on funds and the new suspension is the more pressing need.

I'll def keep a look out for you around New Brunswick. My roomate has a focus svt, and he and his fsvt buddies have meets at Rutgers a lot. I'll let you know when one is happening and you should come down so I wont be the only CSVT there

I don't think chrome is the problem. I feel the design of the actual wheel doesnt look good. I myself have chrome polish wheels and I feel it looks good. Those wheels look like they should come in dub 22 inches and on a truck. Don't sweat it I wish I had an SVTcontour.

Headlight wetsanding is on the exterior of lens! No need for disassembly unless you want to mod them...Mask off car paint or remove lens assemblies to work on them.

uh...yeah, the haziness is on the outside of the headlight, so there's no need to open them and sand the inside.

where in new brunswick do you live? i had family that lived over behind st. peters hospital.
