Just got this installed yesterday thought I would pop up some pics. Thanks again Justin. Sorry about crappy pics, this is a cheap camera :D Btw I rattlecanned the mirko with Home Depot paint, perfect match :D

Ignore front wheel (passenger). Bearing is so screwed the whole tire assembly and everything is tilted giving it a look of lot-o-wheel gap :D

Its called Silver Metallic and its the Rustoleum Hobby paint at home depot. Only comes in the small 4oz cans but its perfect.

Hell, the way these Mirkos get beat up, I probably wouldn't use anything other than the rattlecan either. Looks good.

Well I sanded the gel coat, primered, sanded, base coat, wet sanded, cleared, and used a bit of compound on some spots. The clear didnt come out that well but like another guy had said these things take a beating so I said to myself I can always just pull it and spray it again. :D

Ha Aaron thats funny because I say the same about your Axis wheels. Unfortunately both of our wheels arent made anymore that I can recall.

Let me clarify that by find a set of those I mean scoop yours up :D because those on a black SVT would be :drool:.

Hmm well maybe you will wake up one morning with new black wheels, but your Ne-o's may disappear and suddenly appear on my car :D
 
Wow man you put my Mirko on damn fast. It's good though b/c it was just collecting dust here. It looks awesome. Now I know what it would have looked like on my SVT :laugh:.

What kind of screws did you use on the sides?

I thought you were using duplicolor or some other brand? That rustoleum is a perfect color match even up close?

p.s. good to see the new tire and wheel are back in business :laugh:

Ha ha yeah. Hey pm me your addy again, left in the SVT which is at the dealer. I didnt use the duplicolor because I could only locate one can which wasnt enough. I used a screw and a nut on the other side. Its really on there. I also have 3M tape but I dont think I'm going to use it.

Oh I actually just picked up a molded Mirko. So I figure I will use my current SVT bumper for winter and then paint the new SVT bumper w/ molded Mirko for the summer :cool:. So I will be sporting the Mirko after all.
