Wire rims on a Contour? WOW. Please dont do it and/or embarrass yourself. I understand style and customization is based on personalization but at least have some sense of style.

Get some multi spoke rims! The Daytons are FUGLY

Daytons only belong on low riders!

My dream low rider which I almost had the chance to get was a Chevy Blazer (early 90s) with Gold Daytons, Green/Gold flake paint and Gold Pinstripping! Obviously Bagged! Sweet!!!!

Mywhip, I suggest you do a little more research. You claim to know nothing about tires, changing from 4 lug to 5 lug or apparently offset. Once you get that figured out, you can try to find what exactly you are looking for. If you want a deep dish wire wheel, be prepared to have it look like the contour pictured.

Having been in the lowrider scene back in the day, I don't knock it. And I still enjoy seeing some of the rides these days. But, FWD never did it for me. I prefer older rides.

You mentioned the wheels looked good, but needed to be bigger. You could go ghetto style 30's and Vogues:

Or go with the best, Dayton. But with an offset made for FWD:

Um no but it can be tastefully done unlike the one in the picture. That would be the body and almost the color I would be going for. Something that is not going to happen cause I am over that phase!

More in my area.... something I would like in my garage at some point. Rides nice, good swapped in motor, gold daytons, candy apple green with flakes/pinstripping. Something that actually can be tasteful.

Again its my opinion you may think its nice when others dont. Im sure there are many that agree with me and many that don't.

But Daytons on a CONTOUR is just, We Todd Did! and everybody agress its FUGLY!
Not here to switch the thread in another direction but I just think Daytons belong on a more Squared bodied car and the majority of cars they belong on are well known!

true true.. i honesstly dont mind wire rims. but not gold. chrome. and only on very certian cars. and the car pretty much has do be customized in one way or another. Unless its a early 1900 car like my dads, then thats all they had really. plus any other wheel would look pretty dumb, unless its a street rod.
