I'm currently in the middle of a complete SVT Drivetrain swap into my 4/98 SE Auto. The mechanical part of the swap has gone well, but the electrical not so much. I have installed all the SVT harness' needed for a return fuel system. I both an RJL1 computer and an SFG2 w/key. Originally I thought the car was an early model '98, but now not so much. I'm going to tear into the passenger glovebox area and verify if I have a PATS module or not. I have tried both computers with no luck. As of today, I have finally gotten the car to crank, but not start. I can hear the fuel pump relay kick on with the ignition switch, but doesn't run as long as it did before the swap. It usually runs 2-3seconds before initial startup. Now all I hear is a quick buzz/blip and it's done. I checked the fuel rail for pressure and sure enough it sprays out the schrader valve when I push it. I've also verified that I have volts at the coil connection. I have not yet verified actual spark. I'll do that later tonight after dinner. I also had to manually ground the clutch switch to get the starter to go. I literally had to jumper the two terminals and then ground the jumper wire??? Not sure why the unit isn't grounding normally? Last but not least, I have NO PATS light what so ever. My fuse #34 is working just fine. My diagram shows the the system goes from the fuse straight to the light??? I did pull the steering column apart during the pedal install, but have since checked and double checked that all connections are back together. I'll probably tripple check it again.

FYI: The donor car was a working/driving salvage vehicle. I swapped the engine, trans and pedals (w/electrical harness). The engine harness, injectors/harness and computer are from different reliable sources.

Need some suggestions, please.

Thanks,

Chris
