i'm changing my lcas and the passenger axle popped out like 1/2inch when i was separating the ball joint on old lca. i didnt notice right away. when i would grab the axle and turn it i could hear it clicking back and first like always so i kept working. went to get the knuckle on the new ball joint and realized the knuckle hole is a bit too far out to sit down on the ball joint when i pry the lca down. i remember some of u guys saying if this happens just kick it back in so i did. firm kick and the axle popped back in. popped the ball joint in and then rotated the hub and it spins along with driver side. when i put it in neutral only the one side i'm manually turning spins. back in gear and both sides rotate. is it possible something didnt pop back in correctly? i dont see any tranny fluid leaking from where the middle shaft goes into the tranny. i had the knuckle jacked up slightly to have room to swing the lca down but when the ball joint popped out the bottle jack kicked out (shouldve seen that coming, bad mistake) and the knuckle fall down onto the lca and the inner cv boot hit subframe. any shot i messed something up? or will i only know after i test drive it.
