Pain in the ACE driveway...

I have that curb as well.. with eibachs and a mirko, and I don't scrape.

Trust me, back in the driveway instead.

You learn real quick with a mirko.......its amazing how many places i can back into and not scrape, pull in and i do scrape and vice versa

i dont have a curb at the end of the driveway but its got a nice slope, pull in and its fine..back in and the mirko scrapes.

Oh well, its all worth it though!

You guys should see some of the side roads around my house, if I don't angle it, I scrape and I'm not even lowered. :help:
In my cousin's old neighborhood in Toledo, you guys would be in trouble, they put HUGE speed bumps down his street because of people speeding. I was up there one evening and a few cars went over it. you could hear them scrape.

with a lowered car, or even with a mirko it is key to master the art of hitting the bumps with your wheel first. once you get that one wheel up in the air you're golden...cause obviously you can't back in everywhere.

I invite anyone to drive down the roads leading to my house, Id love to only have to worry about the driveway!!

i took my svt to penn state once to see a friend and they had the most gigantic, obnoxious speed bumps i ever saw. i scraped so bad on the one at the entrance to his apartment that after that i drove on the lawn to get around it. i thought i made it over when i got the front bumper over it with no issues...then once the front wheel was back down on the ground i nearly destroyed my side skirts and exhaust! it was retarded.

here's another angle of pulling out, this is the most clearance you'll see me get, depending on the angle i pull out at.

anyhow, i actually really like the way that pic #1 turned out
(i don't want to hear anything about my lower mesh... I KNOW! )

That reminds me of the top gear I watched the other day on youtube. It is the one where they take a Ford GT, Zonda, and Ferrari to France to drive across that huge assed bridge. Along they way they stop in Paris and are trying to get out of a parking garage.......then the hilarity followed.

Wow you guys have small curbs.

I have to park in the street if I have my mirko on. Stock ride height. A boddy came over that was slightly dropped and he couldn't get up the initial drop. I tried, just once to get out with the mirko on. Took 6 peices of wood and two spotters to make sure it didn't scrape. 3 stack, then 2 stack then 1 like a ramp.

And then I was complaining about my driveway! Even if it still suck... they made sure to but the concrete high enough so that they can repave the darn street for the next 50 years.

I hit it with a stock SVT... well I did with my old shocks, now it seems to clear at least with the new ones! I can still hear the sound of the pipes hitting the ground lol.
