Optimization of Throttle Body

Was bored today and figured I would play around with the car some since it's not running.

I pulled mine off today hoping to do the same thing but I couldn't get any of the tps or plate bolts out without them wanting to strip. How'd you get yours out?
 
the front side of the shaft can be totally take out unless your highly boosted. also you can countersink the screws in the plate and get flush screws. if you wanna go further. but it looks real good :)

On the tps i sprayed a little wd on them. The plate i had to squeeze the backside of the screws cause they were collapsed. I just put a lot of pressure on them to make sure they didnt strip.

I saw on the How-to that he had it completely gone but didnt wanna go too far with it and mess it up. I bought countersunk screws, but they didnt go completely down. It's fairly close to flush to where i dont think it'll affect it too much.

I might take the front side of it out since its not on the car yet.

I am used an optimized tb with boost, whats the issue?
 
I just bought one that was already halfshafted from aliasjerk, but the rest of the optimization only took ~10-15 minutes.

halfshafting the throttle body, countersinking the screws and filing off the bottom of the screws was the most time consuming part of my last one. though I didnt knife edge or polish the butterfly cause I didnt want to take off to much material accidently.

hmmm. I am like 1/2 hour from Sioux City, and I go down to Omaha from time to time to visit family. I am just noticing how many members are nearby me now that I moved out of North Dakota.
