opnion please bat/or spax?

I have brand new BAT struts paired with new Eibach springs. (courtesy of JEDsContour). The ride is very nice. There are like 1" drop all around. I believe you can get this combo directly from BAT since that's what JED did, for not much more than just BAT kit.

this is the setup that I have also and its a good choice imho

Decide what kind of driving you want to do, then determine if you'd like to lower your car a bunch, or only slightly.

From the suspension FAQ:

What springs are available for Contiques?
Both sport springs and coil overs are available.
Brand /Model /Drop Front/Drop Rear/ Spring Type(Prog/Linear)
B.A.T./ Sport/ 1in/ 1in/ Progressive
B&G/ / / /
Eibach/ Pro-kit/ 1.25in/ 1.25in/ Progressive
Ford/ ST24/ OEM/ OEM /Progressive
H&R/ Sport/ 1.5in/ 1.5in/
Intrax/ / / /
Rousch - No longer available from retailers!
Coil Overs:
Ground Control /Coil Over / ADJ./ ADJ./Linear

What struts are available?
Brand/ Model/ Adjustable?/ Lowering Advised?
Koni/ Yellow/ Yes/ Yes
Bilstein/ Sprintline/ No/ yes
B.A.T/ Euro / No/ With BAT or similar springs
Ford/ ST200/ No/ Spring perch is 1" lower, not necessary
KYB/ GR2/ No/ No
Sachs/ Super Gas/ No/ No
Spax/ Sport/ No/ No

I've got the BAT kit & I'm lovin' it. No scraped bodywork or exhaust pipes, firm, confident handling, slightly lowered - only about an inch or so, still a great ride for long trips. If you have bad roads where you are, you might consider your stock springs or SVT springs and a set of struts with a lifetime warranty.

Once again, the suspension FAQ is incorrect when it comes to Spax struts. They are similar to BAT struts and hold up FINE to moderate lowering. I've been running roush springs on them for years with no problems.

How much in labor to replace?

How much in labor to replace?

My 95 SE has over 100,000 miles on it. I think it tends to "bounce" allot. When I turn the front wheels a lot when I am parked, it makes a "rubbing" sound. Ok, I really don't want to spend a lot of money if I do not have too. I just spent 142 bucks 2 weeks ago having my sway bar mount welded back on (It was the left, the right was welded previously). So, ok, new sprinks and struts or should I have my dealer loomk at what I have and see what needs to be replaced. How much should this cost? I am relying in your "Expert" advice.

Sincerely,

Johnny T.
