I have to bring my car in to get the bumper repaired and painted( my car is t-red) While im there i was contemplating whether or not to paint the back bumper completely red or leave it with the black area around the exhaust.. What do you think?

I used to like the look of the painted lower valance. I really like the flat black now, so I'd keep it stock looking.

Keep the lower valence black. Because theres a bodyline outlining the valence, it looks goofy if its not black IMHO. Only color car that can get away with a fully body colored rear fascia is a black svt.

I will be having it repainted black this spring.

I was going to agree with everyone, black looks cool. but the painted one looks pretty nice too  You choose either one looks good!

the way the lower valance angles makes it look like the color is a shade away. im sure it was probably painted at the same time the rear bumper was painted. when my car was orange depending on what angle you look you might see the same optical illusion. by the way i like it painted but its all a matter of opinion.

now that i look at it more closely it might be a differint color .

At this point i think im just gonna leave it black...possibly considering getting clear coated.

Mine was painted when I bought the car, and when my car was repainted, it just told them to keep it t red. I don't mind it.
