Let me tell you, You can't really get SQ out of subs. Give me a break. It friggin goes BOOM. THATS IT. SQ comes from the rest of your speaker choices. Bass should be used as a filler. IMO. Unless youre trying to squeeze by with 1 or 2 10's in your rear deck for more fill, THAT'S the true meaning of SQ. Not 2 12" in the trunk banging away to country music or whatever, thats SPL factor talking. But whats wrong with having a lil extra available to really get your money's worth. You don't always have to roll with the gain max'd. Im not trying to rattle your dishes in the kitchen when I roll by your house. Or wake you up at 1AM on a wednesday night. Even tho Id like to do that to STeeda. (although being able to set off car alarms is nice)

Seriously, Can you please stop posting garbage. If you can tell me why pointing them at the rear makes them louder in technical terms that would be great. And just for a heads up this isn't a technical term.

You never should "roll" with the gain maxed. You are supposed to let the head unit do most of the work and then turn up the gain on the amp to get it to where you want the sound to be.

Pointing them forward and up against the rear seat DOES sound like absolute garbage to tell you the truth. ANd if you DO have your subs like that, in the trunk, youre a nutball.

Your a retard, plain and simple. judging from your past posts you run crap audio, which is why you would say this. CHEAP SUBS SOUND LIKE CRAP NO MATTER HOW THEY ARE PLACED! If you think pointing them forward sounds like crap id like you to sit in my car (or many others with front facing setups!), i may not have the best equipment but it'll sure as hell change your mind. What about SQSVT or w/e his name is, hes a sound quality champ, and guess how his subs are facing! FRONT FACING!

you can show all the sites you want, they are showing graphs that facing them back puts the bass wave more in phase, doesn't mean it makes it sound better, and plus,t he other site is more toward SPL, as the graphs are all for SPL.

you seriously have no idea what your talking about when it comes to front facing setups, crap subs will sound like crap facing forward.. take my old MTX 12's for example, they sounded like **** pointed toward the trunk or facing forward, my infinitys were a totally difference ball game, insane sound quality wh en front facing.

give up, seriously. go sit in a car with a SQ setup with front faicng subs, you would shut your mouth in a heartbeat
 
OMG no way, I have this friend, okay and he's got pyramid subs alright. And dude, I swear when he had his 15's facing forward it sounded like dookie ok. If you dont know what pyramid is...go check it out. dont even let me tell you about how hard Lanzar's bang. I was in best buy one time, ANd they had the Pyle Dryvers, and me and friend was playing around with it and i think we triple bypassed the amp and bridged it in mono mode and my friend knows how to do the frequencies, and It banged SOOO HARD.

One time I had a chance to listen to these volfenhaags okay they wwere SOOO LOUD OMG. these werent regular volfenhaags these were the triple voice coil subs alright wired in paralel with the amp bridged in stereo mode. The RED ones hit SOoo low. You guys dont kno nuthin WOW.

And I just hooked up my friends car with Audiobahm Flame Subs. AB129914x1x123.4.2's okay. DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THOSE ARE>>....they are soo expensive they BANG sooo Hard. not the regular audiobans but the flame ones..i think he said they were the aluminum/titanium mixed one.... Okay the magnet was sooo huge..it even had vents in it. seriously took like 4 people to carry the box. WOW. and NO the box wasnt overdone but it was HEAVY jeez.

One time, I was at the state fair...and this dude was selling AMPS for 25 dollars....it only had one fuse and it said 10amp on it...but my friend said fuses dont matter, it whats on the board that counts.....my friend then took out the audio books his dad had in the closet, and we were reading it and it said that amps with lower fuse rating would be more stable and put out alot of watts.....do you guys believe that? I do. OMG...then we put in a 20a fuse in it...and we double crossed the Mosfets with a monster wire....not the 5 gauge wire but the 4 gauge wire "the clear wire" ones, and OMG OMG. we even soldered it to the built-in cap on the circuit board. The book said it would be 8 ohm stable now. we did everything by the book. He said he smelled something funny, then i told my friend, I said "it waZ probly your brain cellz"...and we were laughing all day all the way to radio shack OMG OMG. Volvfenhaag forever!

you guys need to quit hating on audiobahn expecially the flame ones.

Can we ban somebody for repeated stupidity, or at lease from audio due to lack of audio knowledge? That way he can maybe learn a little but not dumb everybody else down due to his lack of quality knowledge. Seriously anybody reading this thread is 2 IQ points dumber because of the BS this kid is crapping out..

I dont think you should be allowed to post in the audio forums until your out of highschool.
