oops

You've broken 13 axles..... something tells me you either don't LEARN how to drive/launch without breaking them, or you don't CARE that they keep breaking..

either one strikes me as a "meh"..

Yeah, I would think that you would learn stop launching like that after the first time, but what do I know...

okay... i know i should probably post this in the wheel n tire forum... but i've gatta say this real quick... all this talk about tires made me head to the tire store. after searching around, i narrowed my options down to bridgestone potenza RE760 and re-01Rs. As sure i was that i was gonna purchase one of the two, somehow i got distracted. for the $110 price each, i couldnt beat the new Yokohama S drive tires. to cut the story short, ES 100s SUUUUUUCK... BIG TIME! All i can say now is wow. i drove outta the tire store with 4 of these S-drives. Simply put... nice... its unbelievably comfy. i can barely feel it when i go over the lane dividers. with the ES 100s, i felt every single thing. maybe its cos i got wider ones this time. i always had 215/45/17s. i stepped up n got 225s this time. could have something to do with it, am not sure. Any ways... Go yoko!:)

i assure you i can drive. haha. truth be told i just don't care. i obviously wouldn't do things like this on trips to places or things of the sort. but sometimes i just enjoy some good ole destruction :)

At least you're not one of those people that comes on here and is like "wah wah, these cars suck, I hate having to replace broken parts, it's too expensive, the car breaks too often" and they are completely in denial about their poor driving habits that cause most of the headaches.

so yes, that's a compliment to you.

well there is truth in you must "pay to play," and if an axle is my weakness rather than my poor old table decoration of a differential then i accept that. perhaps in a few months some stage 2s will be on order and i can see if these are worth the money.

Just as long as you realize that you can't "control" when it won't break.. (I realize you might could control when it WILL break.. haha). You say that you don't do it on trips, etc.. but if you were doing it beforehand it was weakening the axle anyway and it could still let loose on you on a trip.

Either way, you're familiar with the pay-to-play mindframe so its of no importance anyway! lol ... enjoy your new stage 2's if you get them!

funny thing is when i blew my stock dif on a 4wd turbo diesel f-250 it was fine till i got home. then the next day i was goin to the gas station to get some smokes and i turn the corner from my house and as soon as the steering wheel was turned i got the uphil rollercoaster click. lol.

also so you guys know, the majority of my axle failures were in the u-joint area. this area just gets beat to piss. the axle before the one that broke blew the joint into seven pieces. that one was replaced due to one of the worst vibrations iv ever felt from a steering wheel. haha.

Holy ish. Never seen an axle fail like that. Needs to be made into a Fail pic.

lol, last year I was on a date with some real arm candy. Was behaving like a 16y/o and took a city speed bump at full throttle at an inappropriate speed... yup, snapped an axle. well honey, looks like I have to stay at your house tonight... best $65 + tow costs I ever spent.

anyways congradulations, thats some epic destruction.

I clicked new posts and I saw opps, I roll the mouse over and saw a quick summary (Dont know if thats just for PCs and firefox) and it said my nice new one month old. I was expecting to see some pics of your new baby and oops because of a condom break:laugh:

But to stay on topic...whoa. I hope you didnt just say oops.

oh it was funny. i work at a chevy dealership so its all good. were all great friends. actually the driveability guy has a silverado with a z06 motor and a nice blower and its 4 wheel drive and if you floor it at thirty it will blow the trans. so id say im better off :)
