I think it would be pretty cool to own since its a 1 off car, but it definetely needs some work. And from what people have told me that have inquired about the car, they seem to be sticking to their guns with the 20K asking price. I'll pass.
 
I thought Saleen had some good taste when making cars look good @ least until i saw them mess up my favorite car in the world!

Car is driven or pushed out of there shop bays every day. So it should run and in Sept '05 when I saw it in person, it looked fine and was told it runs fine. There are a few flaws in the front bumper but aside from that it looked fine.

What can I say, it looks a lot better in person.

That is one HIDEOUS A55!

Those aluminum can spoilers make me want to wolf my cookies...but dayum, that thing needs to have a WIDE LOAD sticker on the back! oof!

He might wanna let someone pic the wheels for his Mustangs though, have you seen those "things":eek: :eek: :eek: Its the very same style that goes on his Saleen F150's, come on. First the rims on the Saleen Mustang:nonono: (05-06), then the Cobra GT500 rims:cry: and then the rims on the Saleen F150:shrug:
 
yet the best ever contour body kit i have ever seen i want 1 of those any 1 know where i can get 1?
 
I could see it at the track making all the Ricers jealous. I'm glad it was never made. It would be a big disgrace to the contours like the mustang II cars are to the mustang family.

Someone needs to delete that photo so it can never be found again.

Apparently, they are only covering their @$$es with the state of CA because it hasn't been tested for EMISSIONS! I then asked whats to stop someone from just registering the vehicle as regular Contour... but he never got back to me.

from what they said in their response-to-sale emails the car isnt running right and needs quite a bit of work to make it do so. probably is throwing a few cells which means it would need to fixed before it could pass smog and not to mention the car probably has OLD tags on it. i talked to a sales guy there and he said "they" think its a POS and they hate having to move it.
