yes, people have seen the saleen contour. Its sitting collect dust at saleen and its been beaten to hell. Its completely stock under the hood and pretty well beaten to hell. Saleen states its for off road use only and they want $20,000 for it. :blackeye:

And yes, I know at least one member that owns a bondurant svt. I think they are basically bone stock under the hood, with the exception of true dual exhaust, upgraded trannys, custom fuel tank, and roll cage.

The Bondurant SVT's also had a different clutch and different Radiator. I think they had a differnt oil cooler too.

I found this link a while ago and I thought I'd find out what the (*off highway use) was all about, so I emailed the guy from work (figured he'd take me more seriously if my email ended in dell.com).

Apparently, they are only covering their @$$es with the state of CA because it hasn't been tested for EMISSIONS! I then asked whats to stop someone from just registering the vehicle as regular Contour... but he never got back to me.

Maybe I should email him again, now that my work email ends with microsoft.com.
