Oil leaking from the front of the block somewhere.

I originally thought that I had a leaky oil pan drain plug because I noticed more oil dripping after I first changed it. I don't know what oil was in it before, but I put a bit less than 6.5 QT of Super Tech 5w-30 with the first oil change on the car and it's been running great so far. The leak was noticeable IMMEDIATELY after changing the oil. I think it might have had something to do with the synthetic.

I have no idea if it's coming from the pan or the valve covers or a front seal somewhere, but I need some advice and help because I'm at the place where I can (more) easily pull the engine with a cherry picker and replace everything and put it back together. Here's the rest of the photos.

It's hard to see anything because of how there is only an inch and a half between the front of the block and the wheel well. This is how my car is sitting right now and I've been working on it for the last week doing preventative maintenance, suspension work and pulling the transmission for repair/replacement.

If anyone can help me brainstorm what the causes might be I'm in a better situation to fix it right now than when I put the transmission back in it. If it goes back together I'm going to be more likely to just say screw it and let it leak until next year when I get some more money. I plan on pulling the intake manifolds and valve covers and replacing the gaskets sometime this week. I'll probably be able to tell you more about what I see when I get that crap out of my way. Right now I'd just like some ideas before I get to that point, because for the life of me I can't pinpoint it. I know someone has seen this exact thing before.

Thanks for that, I noticed a lot of power steering fluid is leaking around the reservoir, but didn't think that was getting down to the engine block. I'll take more pictures and post them when I get the intake and valve covers off.

The other source could be the front oil seal. I just replaced the oil seal behind the crank pulley last week. It's an easy fix if you have a puller to remove the crank pulley.
