Yeah, even better the city of SP ran out of money for snow removal, and our driveway is cleaned by the city... so we have a huge ass ruts in our drive way and our drive way is like a giant puddle since it's snowed, froze, melted, froze, melted... ARGHH!!!!! :nonono: :nonono: :help:

So uh, I've been couped up in my apt all day, and had enough so i decided to walk out to my garage and clean out the fester.....

8" pile of snow in front of my door, no big deal.

Turn the corner of the walkway, snow is drifted up to my HIP and i'm not even touching actual ground, just compacted snow.

Open the garage door, 2' drift.

I don't ever remember snow like this.

I honestly dont know how I made it home yesterday in that storm... I was going thru snow taller than my hood which caused complete white out conditions for me in regards to seeing.

also all major highways were bad as hell... they couldnt keep up with the snow at all ... people were stuck everywhere and I just kept driving around them hoping that I was on pavement at all times because I couldnt see tracks anywhere.

once I got home I spent 3 hours on the driveway :(

obviously this storm has made us break all previous records now... this Winter has been freakish.

yah, it is really cruddy out. I blowed yesterday at 5pm and then had to blow the approaches again this morning from the stupid plows.....

I forded the snow storm in the morning for work @ the bank from 9am to 1pm when we closed early, then went to BBY and worked from 4:50 pm to 9 pm drove home to a plow team clearing out the driveway which was a blessing! Got stuck across the street @ pizza hut where I park sometimes when our driveway is F'd, some one was walking over to get there car, gave me a quick push and we were out and going again.... amazed at the number of cars in the ditch, I saw at least 3 cars just stuck in their driveway entrances while driving through middleton :D, then stupid asses crusing by me, I actually got PASSED on the way to the bank yesterday morning... :nonono: I wish I had a big truck with plated sides so I could just ram people that pissed me off the road. Saw a blazer flipped on it's side, a semi stuck that turned too early to get on the interstated, almost got taken out by a snow plow over the center line. I think I saw as many cars in the ditch this morning as I did yesterday... apparently people thought that after an almost record breaking 13.1" of snow that they could drive just fine the next day.... ahhh DUH!!! no you can't!!! we were 3" or 4" away from breaking the 1990 snowfall record of 15.3"? or something like that. 2nd largest snowfall in madison history and people are retarded!!!

BTW people at work thought I was crazy, but it was easy money and I got there early. I arrived just as they were starting to plow the parking lot, so I got a nice clean spot... :D

800 vehicles trapped on Wisconsin interstate

-----------------

Schools were shut down today because they plows couldn't keep up I guess. I think it's budgeting because while we got about 7" it doesn't seem like a lot to me. If I can drive around the roads w/o them being plowed it's not bad IMO. :D
