Odd sound coming from the right front wheel

I am going to describe this noise as best as I can. The sound is a whub, whub whub type sound. It sounds like an off balance wheel or failing wheel bearing almost.

I've noticed the sound intensifies when turning right and all but disappears when turning left. The sound is speed dependent and also intensifies under braking. Now on to the odd part, I don't feel any vibrations or pulsations associated with this sound. there is nothing through the wheel, floorboards, or butt of the seat. There are no pulsations or vibrations under braking that would indicate anything either.

I forgot to add the sound is coming from the passengers side and I just had that wheel bearing done 4-6 months ago.

Parts on the front end I know need to be replaced are outer tie rods and end links and I don't think those components would be causing this but....

I've been racking my brain as to what this could be and I just don't know what would cause a sound like that and not have anything to go with it.

Any ideas of where to start would be great. If you need any addtional information that would help please let me know and I will do my best to provide it.

I replaced my driver's side wheel bearing a couple of weeks ago (needed to be done anyway) and the sound was still the same. I went in yesterday to rotate my tires and now the sound has gotten a lot worse. I now have a pulsation through the steering wheel and floor boards. Also note that the sound almost doubles from 30mph to 60mph after that it harmonizes and almost goes away. I haven't a clue what could cause that outside a bent wheel. I may go in and have my front tires swapped from side to side and rebalanced to see if that helps anyhting.

Does anyone have any other thoughts?

LCA bushing worn, inner or outer tide rod ends worn? Cause and Effect would lead me to believe you have tire/wheel issues. Just saying.

I know the LCA are only a year old and would have a hard time believing they are worn out already. Not saying it's impossible but just wouldn't expect it. I know outer tie rod ends need to be done and will get done this summer.

I guess I will see what a re balance and swapping the front tires from left to right to see if that changes anything or moves the sound. If that doesn't do anything I will take it to my mechanic and see what he says.

If anyone else has any other ideas I am open to suggestions.

I am currently experiencing similar issues. I replaced the front & rear hubs, bearings, and tires, so I know it's not any of those. A friend, who also happens to be a retired front-end specialist, suggested the trans mounts. I am going with that suggestion, unless someone else has a better idea. What was the result of your issues back in. 2012?
