No reverse lights...

Well, as the title says, I don't have any reverse lights. I think the switch that connects to the shifter is malfunctioning.

Anyone ever had this problem and what do I need to do to fix it?

i have this problem. mine is caused by the broken connector on top. if your connector is good, then replace the sensor.

there is a sensor, back-up switch, on top of the transmission that could be your problem. If you take the air filter off and look straight down, you'll see it. It has a wire clip that holds it in place and it slides right out. New ones from Ford run about $50, IIRC or you could find one in a junkyard for probably around $10. I've seen a few in my area but forget to grab them.

check the fuses on the interior, should fix the problem, make sure both bulbs are working and connnected as well.

If Fuse 23 had blown, he would not have been able to shift into Reverse (without using the manual mode).

I was able to put the car into reverse when that fuse blew, that's how I found out the lights were out, thats when I ended up changing the fuse out.

Is your "Reverse Lock Out" solenoid pin broken?
