How does everyone feel about Nitto tires?

Are they good in all weather conditions?

Good tread life?

Noisy?

Decent ride?

I am mainly thinking about the NT450's or Invo's, maybe NeoGen's.

The NT450's, especially are pretty cheap for a performance tire.

So I take it no one has had or has Nitto tires?

Jeez.

Anyway looks like I will be deciding between Hankook Ventis V4's or Falken 452's.

Any suggestions?

can't always count on replys to posts made over the weekend. give it alittle more time ... also try tire rack and read the reviews ...

Yeah I know, but I was hoping for feedback specific to our type of cars, not random people writing a review on a site like tire rack, 2 weeks after they bought their tires, that they have mounted on a bubble back Civic or a Toyota Avalon.

Haven't tried them... I like the looks of the 555 though and they are supposed to be good (i've seen quite a few sporty cars other than contours that have them)

I've ridden 2 Svt's with them, they can be nosier at random MPH..

I wouldn't say the ride is bad

How big are your wheels?

Im running the Nitto 555's in 225/40-18. Love the tires! They make no noise, handle to no end and are really not bad in the rain. They don't hydroplane much either. They are only a 300 tread-wear rated tire so don't expect to get 50K miles out of them b/c of course you wont....

But like is said, they stick to the road great, make no "tire noise" and stick nicely in the rain.

Well the Neo-Gens are a completely different tire than the 555's... You really cant judge Nitto, the company, from just one model of tire if you ask me.

i have nitto neogens in a 225-35-17 on stock suspension. noticible improvement over the 215-40-17 kuhmos i had. the neogens don't like a lot of water but other than that they are great. they hook well, seem to handle really well (they dont break loose easy, even at a 45 series tire) and they are quiet on the freeway. if i could do it again, i would have bought 225-40-18's and got rims to match them ;)

Testimonial with NeoGens: Today I was going to get some Arbys and was slowing down from about 35-5 pretty quickly and it was raining. The tires started sliding and caused me to lock up the brakes. They SUCK in the rain and are noisy at 35mph, 40mph, 55mph, 75mph etc...in conclusion dont get neo gens!
