New motor 400 yards and bam

I dont know what was done. Joey from NPG is the one that picked the motor out. I havent seen the car in almost 2 months, and I dont know what all they did before installing the engine.

Well the new motor is in. Everything is hooked up, and we (I) have driven 50 miles or so, and its still running.

Man I forgot how much fun this thing was. I've only gone about 3/4 throttle, but it still pulls hard.

Engine has real good oil pressure, A/F seems to be pretty good, now I just need to wash it tomorrow to get rid of the 3 months of dirt and dust and who knows what else.

double check your plugs

double check your plugs

Just to be safe, maybe you should pull the plugs and see if everything looks good. Make sure all the plugs looks the same, and you don't have a cylinder that is running lean and getting too hot, you don't want to run lean under boost. I know you said you have an a/f but that is just reading an average for the one bank or both banks(depending on how you have it set up) a cylinder that has a problem (ie, injector flow issue) might run a bit lean but the ecu will compensate by dumping more fuel to that bank (three cylinders). I'm not sure what parts were swapped over and what parts were not used during the swap. Anyway, good luck with this motor.
