thanks everyone for the kind words of the tibby. i do appreciate it.

i finally found a csvt somewhat local out in a suburb of chicago in palitine. so i made the drive out there right after work to take it out for a test drive. i have to admit, i was impressed. handling was quite a bit better then expected. the seats are very cumfy, yet supportive. didnt really have the power i was expecting though, but still a nice car.

BUT.. it was a repaint, and they didnt tape it off very well so you can see overspray on alot of the black trim. interior pieces were missing left and right, no passenger side foglight, no jack covers, and the headlights looking like applesauce. definitly not the car for me. i wouldnt have paid half there asking price for that car.

so the search continues..... right now im pretty set on either another tibby, or a csvt. just matters what i run across thats in good enough shape, and at the right price...

Needs UIM/LIM rebuild

Hit the mark with that one!the power difference between CSVT and tibbys are like night and day.anyways good luck with the hunt!

edit:It looks like you had spray on the tibby and possibly a turbo(frontmount or radiator??) in the first pic anyways I'm still going with CSVT>Tibby

turbo, and spray actually. on just motor with my 25 pound rims my best was still a 15.5@89mph though. ;) and the contour handled well, but thats one aspect it still couldnt compare to the tiburon though. in every other aspect, its definitly an upgrade though stock vs stock.
