so here's my idea for a everyday / winter car. it's a 2000 jeep cherokee classic that i photoshopped lowered 2 inches, tinted, and on 18" konig beonds.

thoughts?

The car looks nice, but I agree: lowered doesn't make sense if you plan on getting an SUV. The 18s are OK but anything bigger will give you big trouble keeping the snow clear out of the wheel wells.

not bad looking and 2 inch drop wouldnt effect winter driving much in the cherokee but i gotta say lift FTW
 
do this jeeps aent meant to be lowered except the pro street ones

if anything just get a lil bogger rims, like the rubicon moab 16's, they lok nice and a good all terrain tire. lowered jeeps ride worse than most lowered cars and its not good for the front diff, the high pinion in the front makes it hard to lower it at all. and the driveshaft tends to rub on the tunnel in the rear end, also the rear ponion bearing/seals are a lot more prone to failure.
it may look good but in the long run its gonna cost you a lot of money
but to each his own

sorry, no red car pics, this is for when the red car's garaged.
i might not drop it if it will cause alot of issues, but i really like the look, as much as a hate the idea of buying a SUV for street use only i really like it on this. sorry guys definately no lift though, i had a wrangler in high school and got my offroading out of my blood a while ago.
 
keep it stock height with some bigger rims, black cherokees with the moab rims off of a jeep rubicon are sexy, ive been around jeeps my whole life and seen more issues with lowering than lifting. u can get the lowered look your looking for with bigger rims and no drop
 
well, if she comes with the lift then sign me up! lol

i'll definitely see what bigger rims do for the look before i think about dropping it.

no way... Find your own:laugh:

The lift was less than 100 bucks... and you can pick up some good all-terrain's for pretty cheap... you will never get stuck then.. unless you put it into a 4 foot snowbank

don't think jeep, think escalade or mercedes truck that happens to be a jeep.
the whole idea is that it's a city truck, 4x4 if there's some snow on the road, space to put stuff in the back, but it's generally just for around town and not off road. the only reason i was thinking drop is cause i pshopped it both ways and i just like the look better.
 
Might want to lay off the dope, 50 Cent. It's a Jeep. There is no logical reason to negatively affect what it was intended to do.
