todd...you used the svt front caliper in the back as well?? what did you do about the parking brake?
IIRC, Todd has the Warmonger rear kit, thus stock rear caliper.
I will not be running a parking brake, so it's of no concern to me to put front calipers on the rear, the pads are almost double the surface are.
Damn thats gonna be killer stopping power. What pads are you going with?

I have heard amazing things about Hawk pads, I know they arent cheap but they are worth the money I have heard.
Have you thought about getting the rotors and pads cryoed?
Here is a company that does it and it works. I have a friend with a 700+hp Terminator with cryoed pads and rotors and they stop you on a dime and havent shown any wear in the almost 2 years he has had them on the car

I would look into it. It will make them last far longer and along with braded lines there will be virtually no brake fade. When I do my brake upgrade I am getting mine cryoed.

No I cant, this is just what I am told. I have also heard alot of scca drivers use the process too. I would look into it and see if it can benifit you for your application.

umm yeah eventually. but the longer it takes to get there the faster you can go.
say the race usually lasts 30min. your brakes fade at 15. that means 15min hoping to god u slow down to make the corner. now cryo or any other improvement now they dont fade until 45min of hard driving. that means they dont fade for what hes doing. plus he doesnt have to worry about them fading during the race

Plus cryoed brakes last alot longer
Vibration robs horsepower and torque Custom Thermal Cycling significantly reduces or eliminates damaging high frequency and harmonic vibration in metal components during operation. Processed components have shown an improvement in life expectancy as high as 300% with drastic reduction in micro cracking.
Thermal Cycling enhances the component by converting the soft grain structure (Austenite) into a stronger, more stable grain structure (Martensite). This tighter grain structure is disbursed uniformly throughout and will provide a better component by increasing the resistance to wear and drag. Machine cutting tools stay operational longer and the sharpening process requires less grinding.

next time we get together I want to bring down that BAER kit so we can compare those rotors... if I can swap to what I bought you then I want to buy more of those Cobra rotors... those things were so fuggin sweet in person. I want to see if that adaptor works for that rotor too and if so, you can copy it.

Sounds good, I'm going to be taking measurements soon so i can get the rotors drawn up in CAD so i can build the brackets, adapters and spacers in solid modeling.

I'm pretty sure you will find the major dimensions of your brembo rotor and the Baer rotors will be the same, with only the hat to braking surface transition area being different. The Baer rotors are very similar to the original KH rotors used on the 94-98 Cobras, and your rotor is the brembo sourced replacement used originally on all 99-04 cobras, Bullitts and Mach 1's.
Your setup will end up being virtually identical to the Baer kit, with the exception of the bracketry between the knuckle and the caliper anchor brakcet. Most likely your bracket will look exactly like the Baer intermediate bracket, except it will mount about 1/2" closer to the hub centerline because of the differences between the Baer anchor bracket and the OEM cobra caliper anchor bracket.

Umm have them drilled to the bolt pattern since it's near impossible or spend 11ty billion for custom hubs. Easier to drill rotors and rims.
not really that expensive. at school we had the tools to measure exactly where to drill the hubs for a 5 lug conversion. im trying it right now on a spare set of svt hubs. im welding in the four lug holes and metal finishing the welds on a mill. then measuring the 5 lug pattern on the existing four lug hub. seen it on a lot of modified cars where 5 lug hubs were wanted/needed.
