new alarm

its not a bad alarm at all....most of the alarm out their are actualy made by the same company. DEI......but over all there are a good alarm....do you know how to install it or are you going to send it somewhere?
 
well i know DEI doesnt own autopage, i want to try and do a self install but not sure how hard it will be seeing that my car is a mtx
 
its not that bad if you know how to use a DMM...and can read a scemematic....if you need a print out of your wiring colors for your car and location i can maybe get it for you....do you know how to solder?
 
yea i can, pretty good actually. and im pretty confident i could install the alarm portion no problem its just making sure i have the bypass for the remote start and whatnot right.. the problem im having is no places will install a remote start on a mtx in michigan
 
MTX's aren't really any different than doing a ATX... (well besides the liability part) you just have to add a relay for the clutch bypass so that the car thinks the clutch is pushed in when it's remote started so it will allow the car to remote start. Also if you have an SVT your going to need an immobilizer bypass module to get pass the PATS system. I still have the paper work and notes from when I did mine, which if I could find a scanner I could send to you.... since you have the same car as me..
