I friggin love it, are you getting alot of looks in it?

Not too many, a couple people were looking. Could be because it spent most of the day Saturday and Sunday sitting in my driveway dirty and covered in snow. Another guy took it home for a night last week and he said he got a good amount of comments.

So, I assume you have to stay mum on the powertrain for 2011--I think they call it the 'coyote' motor?
What are your driving/interior impressions?

I was hoping ford was going to cover up the outside lights ala 69 to 70 mustang redesign. As it is I don't care for it, I thing the current gen looks much better.

Yeah I do, sorry about that.

Driving wise, it's not much different than the current car. There is less road noise and the steering is a little more responsive.

As far as the interior goes, there are some things I am not a fan of, but overall it is better than the current car. The steering wheel is thicker and feels better and the shifter is more precise. Right now I am not a big fan of the center stack, there are too many buttons and they are kind of small, but the more I get use to it, the more I will probably like it.

The materials are much better as well.

Looks like the interior has been upgraded nicely. Those pics show it better than the staged mag or press photos I've seen.
Now I have to debate buying the current Shelby or the one that will be based on this refresh.
Please post GT500 info and pics if you ever get to put some miles on one.

Unfortunately, I can't give any information on the GT500 yet. It will be shown at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

I will post pictures and impressions when I get behind the wheel of one.

Is there any word on how... "backwards compatible" the new interior is with the current- gen? I'd love to swap out my door panels and center console including the shifter.

It just doesn't have that "bad-ass" stance from the rear view that the Challenger does.
Wider tires in the rear would fix that I think.
Compared to the Challenger, it looks like it is running on a bicycle tire.

I don't understand what the entrance vents on the rear quarter panels are for?

Just for looks. Much like the hoodscoop and window louvers its just a show thing.
Wouldn't the vents be more of a slowing down issue though?

I can see the hoodscoop, as it is aerodynamic.

Just don't make sense to me :S

The vents are sealed just like the hoodscoop so air cant actually go in them. And technically any scoop is the opposite of aerodynamic.

Nice car but it needs less black plastic rear valance:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: The interior needs nothing, well, other then my butt behind the wheel, oh well, they had their chance and now I'm still happy almost 2 years into ownership of my MINI:shrug:
