Need help ASAP, using car for roadtrip tomorrow!

I found this hose thats looks like the one end should be attached to something, only problem is its not. Here are some pics of the hose, its loosely tied around some electrical wires so it doesn't end up touching the exhause or getting sucked into something. Pics of the mysterious hose:

It's your tranny vent hose, it's supposed to be like that. Don't wrap it around junk. It should be clipped to your battery tray.

Thanks Matt, I was wondering why I couldn't find a bard to stick it on within reach of the hose.
