national corvette museum

On the trip back from Pittsburgh we stopped at the National corvette museum and I figured I would share a few pics with you guys. There were some extremely rare cars in that place.

Awesome pics! I love the first Corvette, I remember making a 1:24th model when I was a kid and just obsessing over every detail.

That last one has waaaay too many yellow bits. As awesome as it is, I'd automatically assume the driver a) was having a mid-life crisis, b) had a small dink, or c) all of the above.

I think my cuzin bought a corvette from there, has a newer blue one... he is in some corvette club around you. :shrug:

hopefully this one was there too. its a one off 50's or 60's concept i believe. not sure tho.

really? gm must not have wanted it. it was on the floor at SEMA this year. its a concept that was for sale. they made only one.

I don't believe that the museum is owned by GM, I am pretty sure that it is in private hands.
