Name the new True Forged wheel contest!

Geez I'm always late getting to the punch on stuff like this :( Cool idea though Steve and looks like you've gotten some good suggestions already ;)

This may seem sorta lame but I'll go with one that's a play on the word "ten" so to speak. My suggestion is:

TRUE FORGED "ZEN" :)

-Decathlon (deka [ten], athlos [contest])

Dammit I was going to suggest that one lol

Here's your valve stem. Nicely placed by the way.

That depends on if it's a two or three piece wheel. If it's a three piece then yes the end of the valve stem could come out there and "blend in." If it's a two piece such as mine it could come through the wheel in the same place as the three piece wheels if you have the assembly bolts. Otherwise it's known as "no look" valvestems which I have on my wheels... it looks good but makes airing the tires up with the wheels on the car *ahem* interesting :D

**also, since this is a NEW design in our line-up, i will give a $200 discount to anyone who orders a set with this design before December 31st, regardless of the vehicle make.

I might take you up on that. What's the weight on a 17x8? Available in your normal finishes? Still want to know what the weight is on the Chicane too....

typical weight of our 17s is about 20lbs give or take. it depends on the brake cut we do, the width of the wheel and the design. but its in that neighborhood.

also, when you PM'd me. when i said "no lip", i didnt really mean NO lip, literally. they'd just be fairly small, compared to what we normall do. the lips on the wheels in thread are tiny and theyre for an aston martin! lol. but they have massive brakes, which means less lip. a civic si brakes shouldnt be TOO big so you'll get more lip than that im sure. mattyk's csvt on 17" TF has about .75" of lip

Digging "Monaco", so props to Berkel.

I dont have a name for the wheels but I really like them. Nice design! How much would a 17 or 18" set run for a contour?

Its best to send a PM to Steve for a quote, but odds are it might be more than you want to pay... these aren't in the same price range as say a regular cast wheel but I'm sure you probably know that already ;)

It depends on what size, two or three piece, assembly bolts (if its a two piece wheel they're optional), and what finish is on the wheel. I'm pretty sure chrome is only available on a three piece wheel but you'd have to ask him to make certain. I think a set of 17" wheels start ~2400 for a set fully polished.

^ I am still hard at work with what I want for rims. Nothing good is available in cast for us, so my ONLY option is to go with a custom wheel.

My bad Steve... I knew there was about 400 bucks difference between a 17" and an 18"... I thought the 18" two piece started at 2800 though ;)

And I know about the discounts you hook us up with... I'd love to have a set for my Contour but I couldn't swing the price of them at the time. I'll have a set for it someday hopefully :D
