Name the model of this car

Here you go. Anyone who had matchbox cars as a kid or an old slot car track should recognize this concept car:

Looks like a clue is needed.

Ummmm... crap, well this car was built as a safety & technology demonstrator. It was made out of plastic and weighs in at only 1100lbs with a top speed of 125mph. It's then crazy shape made it a very popular matchbox car.

Concept. It was supposed to go into production in 2009 but from the information I have seen, the car has never been produced for the public.

If it were ever to be sold in its home country, it would sell for about 500,000 units of the country's currency. Power comes from a Cosworth tuned forced induction 4cyl engine.

Good job Striker.

The car was supposed to go on sale in 2009 and sell in the US for an estimated $38k. Power came from a superchared Cosworth tuned 4cyl, mated to a roughly 900kg body. The car is notable for being both the first automobile completely produced and designed in Mexico, as well as the first Mexican sports car though never officially produced.
