I measured it and the should fit... I also stuck some 4" air ducting in the slot and it fit so nice... I guess the question is does anyone think it would look good? Or sound good? it would replace the stock resonators with a glass pack streight thru design....

here is a picture of my SVT with AeroTurbine mufflers that have 4" tips.

4" only looks good with rolled edge. Otherwise, go 3.5".

I had 4 inch tips...but couldn't stand them for more then a month. So i swapped in some 2.5 inch and called it a day.I only choose 2.5 inch...because i wanted more of a sleeper look.

Overall 3-3.5 looks the best.

Why the n1 muffler?

I just like the way they sound I guess and i think the look nice with the blued tips... all i know i love them on my stealth and it just seems different for this car... I know the exhaust style is very common yet SVT Contour with huge cans isnt... but im torn between doing this or just 3 inch tips no resonators and a cheerybomb haha

I had the 4" tips on my Magnaflow race mufflers, well, they were a part of the muffler and I thought they looked good in the opening...the sound on the other hand though....VERY LOUD! I had true duals, gutted pre-cats and resonaters and it still sounded too loud:crazy:

well do you have a suggestion or do you like to leave cars stock and boring?

I gave you a suggestion. Don't do a Cherry Bomb. Don't do burnt tips. And don't do 4" tips unless they are rolled. Actually, I counted 3 suggestions there!

ignore zorrex....he's a pissed off guy with a clown suit on type of guy

Well if you wanted to go with the cherry bomb, you can... but to most it makes your car look cheap.

If the exhaust is completely stock, then adding cherry bombs with tips..would only deepen the sound while giving off that high tone sound at certain rpms. Overall most just take off their mufflers and throw on pipes and drive it that way
So it's really up to what your looking for. But if you want n1 mufflers with flamed tips...do it. Then post clips...and then let us judge. Most people on here always stick with maganaflows. (which i'm a fan of, along with edelbrocks and Borlas )

I honestly feel like i answer these questions every 2 weeks about cherry bomb.

(just making sure here....your talking about the EL-cheapo round resonator cherry bomb right?)

the one you can buy at meijer?:blackeye:

Okay...then what i wrote will hold water.

Cherry bomb actually makes a few mufflers. 1 of them i am a fan of. It was used in place of a resonator...that took away rasp. I found it...at pep boys..and for a trial and error case. It worked out great for $40.
