I hate when some people go overboard with the tinting and turn them black. Red with a slight tint looks perfect IMO.

Thats how mine used to look, now I have the center painted. I also didnt want black, but dark red. Looks the best IMO.

Thanks guys Clearing will be done today after I get my English paper done. Rawburt, Polack,Butters, and I all did our tails together (well hotblack did them for us) and I went second to last. Rawburts were to dark for me but look good on his car (I think the wheels set em off good) but I just wanted a smokey look. Did one coat and it didnt look much diff than stock, so we applied another coat...Perfect for my car.

looks great... did that with my Cougar about 3 years ago... make sure that you wet sand the tails and then buff them really well with a cleaner type of wax... then they will be super shiny and a really nice glossy deep red.
