SORRY, FORGOT to post this from NECO, so heres the last few weeks worth of updates .
so i took the coug out for the first time on my new build. it was test and tune day so no points, they put up a very short coarse so everyone could get a ton of laps. i got 9 with a rerun. it was a windy ass day! and only like 50*. it was damn cold! and they it hailed twice! lol. anyways my tires could never get over 100* so it was a bit difficult to keep grip.
so my first run i had my front struts at full soft. i failed.
2nd run i hit 50% stiffness. better but still didnt feel good.
3rd run full stiff and it felt much better.
i started dropping about 1/4 of a second each run, but i was getting to close at slaloms and hitting some cones, and not braking enough.
i kinda realized my racing style wasnt right, so i went a little more mellow around cones, like smoother and further i guess, and i cut a second and a half!
heres where i need some of your help from those who autox. so i still cant get fast enough to corner around cones, and my car still understeers a little, i dont know how to loosen the rear a little bit, but its not really squealing tires (hard to explain but i feel like a need the rear to be doing more work) . the back struts are set at 50% i believe, and the only way to adjust is to remove them. after each run id measure my tire heat, fronts are right at 100* and rears are barley at 80*. what should i do?
