My New Car....

Which wheels?
I'm going off of what I find off of Craigslist/Kijiji/Ebay in my area.
I need a rim and new tires so I'm trying to find a set of ims and tires in decent condition.

I'd vote no to the gold as well, the gold edition es300s just seem so cliche and 90's. Get a nice set of stock Lexus wheels...a set from an LS/GS/RX will fit and give you the larger size you're looking for.

for example:

would have to swap these tires out (diameter is too large), but bolt pattern, centerbore, and offset are identical across ES/IS/GS/LS/RX

Thought I would need a spacer on the backs?
Yeah, I've been looking around. The car needs a bit of help so I'm not trying to spend a fortune. I paid around $450 for brand new tires on the Pontiac, so I figured if I could find decent rims with good tires for that much I'd splurge.

If not, I'll just buy another stock rim and four new tires and be done, but I'd rather have 17's so I have a reason to blow more money on the suspension.

Thanks for the link, I've been watching Craigslist like a hawk for a set of rims and tires. I'm not into the bling bling chrome thing, but I just don't know what rims to look for that will look good on the car.... Any ideas are welcome from you lovely CEGers....

You'll probably need spacers for the back, but that should be a simple fix. It does expand your search options, and stock wheels just look classier on those cars.
