no no no I didnt buy it obv. I just found it on some arab forums. The dude lost his keys and had to call Ferrari at Maranello and they charged him $600 for it (shipping excluded) LOL apparently the same pics are on ebay as well, hmm onder:

Makes sense. My father's key to his '05 MB E500 is said to be approx. $1200.

If someone wants to steal a car bad enough, no smart key is going to stop them. This is just another way for the automakers to screw you out of a ridiculous amount of money for something that should only cost you $3 at Walmart. :nonono: If Ford can replace a transponder key blank for $12-$20, there's no reason MB or Ferrari can't do the same, other than they don't want to.
